Looking for a New Career in 2012 - HC/forkie/Yard
This is a permanent position for the driver with the right skills, attitude and experience. Our client is based in Dandenong. What they need is a person to help them out in their workshop area. Your day is likely to consist of picking up and delivering repaired trailers to their clients, pre-positioning trailers around the yard (that's where the HC licence comes in). You'll be picking up and unloading spare parts etc from suppliers and will need to load/unload yourself at times (that's where the forklift ticket comes in). When you're not busy doing that, you'll be helping out in the workshop (and other areas) keeping the place neat and tidy and maybe helping the stores people do their thing (that's where the Yardman bit comes in). It's a role that might suit someone who is looking at coming off the roads but still likes the smell of diesel, or you might be sitting at home thinking "I want to go back driving". It'd be a good place to 'refresh' those great driving skills you have. This is a fulltime role, the rates are good and the hours are there if you want them.
