Some tips when applying on line
What makes Driver Recruitment different from other agencies is we will come to you to finalise things once you have completed your application on line, so you don’t have to do any travelling. To make that happen as smooth as a bald tyre here are some tips to help out: 1. You need to provide at least 5 years work history, but the more you give us the better your chances are of getting work. 2. You must supply at least 2 (contactable) referees. If we can’t validate your experience, we won’t put you behind the wheel until we can. By the way, you, your wife, your cousin, Aunty or Uncle don’t count J). 3 The more skill sets you tell us you have the better chance we have of placing in a job you like (without either of us being embarrassed). 4. Don’t be afraid to enter your address and contact numbers when you start. Makes it a lot easier to contact you. . . . . 5. Once you have completed the application someone from Driver Recruitment will call you to go over your application and fix any errors or add anything you may have forgotten. 6. Once that’s done, our Roving Recruiter will come out to your place (see why we need the address now) or a mutual place, to finalise things. A little bit of paperwork, scan your licences and tickets etc and Bingo! All done and dusted. At this meeting you will need to have handy your Bank account details (so we can pay you). Super details (so we can pay that), Tax File number (so Julia can take some of what we pay you), your licence and any other tickets you might have (forklift, plant, machinery etc), and if you are applying for a driving position, a recent licence report (just so we know you have few points left).
