We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced HR driver that has previously worked in the waste industry. You will need to have good local knowledge of Brisbane and inner City runs. The successful candidate for the position will have responsibility for collecting and transporting Waste products. You must be able to work well in a team environment; professional manner and presentation. Shift are for early morning starts at 3.00am.
Your responsibilities
- Responsible for a front lift collection vehicle
- Perform loading and unloading duties of commercial and industrial waste, material or consignment
- Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
- Maintaining presentation of the vehicle, inside and out
- Complying with all relevant Fatigue Management rules, regulations and training
Skills and Experience
- An unrestricted HR licence as a minimum;
- Front Lift Driver experience
- Experience in the waste industry will be highly regarded
- Mechanical knowledge and ability to identify basic mechanical problems
- Strong customer service ethic
- Commitment to safety and willingness to work as part of a team
Previous waste industry experience is required however they are willing to train candidates with the right attitude and ability to learn new skills.
