HC Driver required for busy transport company, Monday to Friday (Saturdays as needed), immediate start.
Our client is a medium sized family business looking for FOUR reliable, motivated and enthusiastic ongoing drivers, with strong customer focus. You must be a team player and will to join a growing company, accuracy and attention to detail is essential.
The job involves delivering to construction sites and working around large construction machinery in the Sydney metro and some country areas.
Tasks and responsibilities:
* Loading and delivery of heavy construction materials to building sites
* Securing various sized loads using appropriate restraints.
* Ensuring neat and clean presentation of vehicle and yourself
* Completion of paperwork
* Client contact at pickup and delivery
The successful candidate will have:
* HC License (Current RMS Driving Record required)
* A genuine belief in working safely
* Basic Fatigue Management
* Chain of Responsibility awareness
* Clear communication (both verbal and written English)
* Experience securing large items utilising dog and chains, or a willingness to learn!
* Ability to think on the run, and work in a team environment
* Ability to reliably work autonomously after initial training
* References from previous employers (names/contact details of referees) at least two years experience
* Must be willing to undergo Random Drug and/or Alcohol tests
