We are seeking a heavy vehicle operator to join our clients site in a fast paced waste business based on the Gold Coast.
On the look out for a self-motivated, honest, RELIABLE, and hard-working Driver who holds a current HR licence with real industry experience. In addition, you are energetic, willing to learn, and have the ability to work well individually and as part of a team. Experience driving Front Lift/Rear Lift is ideally preferred, but not essential as training will be offered to cater for all area’s of the business. A level of fitness is required to undertake manual handling tasks.
The role
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
- Maintaining a professional image of the company and deliver high quality customer service at all times;
- Providing an effective essential service in collecting, carrying and disposing of a range of waste and recyclable materials
- Completing all records and paperwork
- Maintaining a high standard of presentation of the vehicle, inside and out;
- Performing daily maintenance and safety checks on vehicle and /or equipment as and when required;
Your skills and experience
The ideal candidate will have:
- An unrestricted HR licence as a minimum;
- Previous HR truck driving experience (preferable);
- A responsible and strong work ethic;
- A professional presentation and manner;
- A dedicated customer service focus;
- Pride in the maintenance and presentation of equipment;
- A solid commitment to safety and a willingness to work as part of a team.
