Our Client delivers goods and freight to their customers all over Australia, with depots in all major cities. They need experience MC MC Linehaul Drivers who are professional and reliable
We are excited to offer some fantastic opportunities for experienced linehaul drivers with runs available leaving different days over the week. Runs will be leaving from Baxter in Melbourne and going to multiple locations around Australia. You will enjoy being on the highway and away a week at the time. Our client provides the expertise to deliver quality focused and cost effective solutions to meet their customers logistical requirements.
Specific Duties include but are not limited to:
• Linehaul work between Melbourne – Brisbane, Melbourne – Sydney
• Changeovers available out of Melbourne
• Daily pre starts and checks and Daily runs sheets completed
• Adhering to all company and customers OH & S legislative requirements
• Adhering to expectations as set out with 1800DRIVERS
• Ongoing role for right candidate with potential to go permanent. Put your best foot forward!
What you have:
• MC Licence
• Night driving and Interstate linehaul driving experience
• Excellent communication written and interpersonal skills
• Able to meet deadlines of set delivery runs
• A good understanding of load restraints and loading and unloading of general freight
• Good knowledge of Chain of Responsibility & Road Transport Legislation.
• Customer Service Focus and be great with paperwork!
