1800Drivers currently have a client seeking an MC Tipper Driver with previous experience in Tip over Axle Tippers. You will be able to drive Auto and Road Ranger gearboxes. Freight is fruit and vegetables and you will be driving a Cab over Kenworth or T408. You will be a driver who is not afraid to get his or her hands dirty. This family friendly business will be looking for a driver who is committed to their business.
You will be responsible for:
- Conduct pre-start checks on Prime Movers
- Completion of all paperwork in an accurate and timely manner
- Following all OHS Regulations and furthering the safety culture of the business
- Ensuring a strong customer service level is provided to internal and external customers is provided at all times
To be considered for this role you must:
- Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience transporting Heavy Haulage including platform and front end loader experience
- Experience in operating an 18 speed with 4 speed auxiliary box
- Mechanical knowledge of Prime Movers and trailers
- Hold a current MC drivers’ licence
- A strong customer service focus at all times
- A responsible driving history and excellent references
