In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient collection of commercial waste while adhering to all safety and operational guidelines.

A Hook Lift Vehicle will commonly service customers who generate large and voluminous quantities of waste and are divided into the Compactor and the Hook Lift Systems. The bin is lifted on and off from the rear of the vehicle.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate a Hook Lift Waste Truck to collect and transport waste
Follow assigned routes and schedules efficiently
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
Communicate with dispatch and report any issues
Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients
Maintain cleanliness and basic maintenance of the truck

Requirements:
Valid HR Drivers Licence
Previous experience in Hook Lift Waste Collection (Preferred) or Heavy Vehicle Driving
Good knowledge of local roads and routes in Brisbane
Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays if required in all types of weather conditions
Strong commitment to safety and environmental practices
Physical fitness to handle repetitive tasks and some lifting

PPE Requirements:
Long sleeve yellow and blue shirt with reflective strips
Blue long pants with reflective strips
Steel Cap Safety Boots

Shift Information:
Shift start at 1pm and can be between 8-12 hours per day
Monday to Friday and able to work either Saturday or Sunday.
